About Us

Luis Garcia’s crew were the best painters I’ve ever had. They are professional, meticulous, super responsive, polite, quiet (though they sometimes sing, which I enjoyed), and easy to have around. They are lovely people who I will happily hire again. The exterior of my house was way overdue for painting and needed a LOT of prep. Now that their work is completed the house looks amazing!

Excellent work, very professional. Highly recommend.

We will definitely call Calico again. Luis is good communicator, charges a fair price , and he and his team care about doing quality work. They show up when they say they will and get the work done efficiently.

A job very well done. Clean corners, high-quality paint, excellent communication.

Luis and his staff are the best! I cannot say enough good things about Calico Painting. They are meticulous and take pride in their work. I have used them for outside painting, inside painting, my garage floor and staining our wood deck.. Never a disappoint! I would very highly recommend Luis and his staff!

We hired Calico Painting to stain a new deck and do some exterior painting. Luis was great to work with and a good communicator. The rest of the crew was equally professional. They were very detailed in their prep work, and they delivered great results. We are extremely happy with the work they did. Thanks Luis and crew!

Luis and his team at Calico painting and staining did a fantastic job sealing and staining our tired and neglected deck. I highly recommend them.

Calico paint company stained our entire backyard fence which was really in need of protection from the elements. We are so pleased with the job they did! Their workmanship, respect to details and cleanup were beyond our expectations. We plan to have Calico do our homes interior paint in the coming months...again, very pleased with the quality of workmanship. Luis, the company's owner was a pleasure to work with, he's honest professional!

Calico was very professional from the estimate all the way to the final coat! Highly recommend them for any and all painting projects!!

We recommend Calico painters highly. Luis is professional in every way and respectful. His crew is the same. Also, our paint job is beautiful! We were well informed every step of the way.

Calico Painting did an outstanding interior painting project for me last week. The crew showed up on time, were well organized and continued to do a professional interior painting of window sills, walls that needed minor Sheetrock caulking and other projects. The cost was very reasonable and the job was finished, as contracted in one day. Kudos to Calico Painting. Wayne Sramek

This is my second whole house exterior project with Luis and Calico. I couldn’t be happier. He uses the best materials for the job, and the painters are skilled and courteous. On top of all that, the pricing is reasonable and transparent. No surprises except how great everything looks.

From start to finish Calico Painting was great! Luis, the owner was very prompt and cordial. His crew was friendly and professional. They did an exceptional job of repainting the siding and pillars of our deck. Luis came out and inspected the areas to make sure that we were happy which we were. I highly recommend them and will only be using them for any work we need done in the future.

Calico Painting, with Luis Garcia at the helm, is a very professional operation. I have recently had them paint my large deck for the second time. All his workers are excellent tradespeople, on time, and easy to talk with. He works with detailed contracts and is licensed and insured. I score his operation at 100%.

I highly recommend Calico Painting. The entire process from estimate to the final walk through was very efficient, professional and pleasant. The paint crew did a wonderful job not only with the painting, but also the cleanup. Give them a call! You will be happy you did!

I recently had interior painting done by Calico Painting. Luis and his crew did a great job and were very attentive to detail. They used high quality Sherwin Williams paint and were always on time each day of the project. I highly recommend Calico Painting and will use them for any future painting projects.

The team at Calico Painting did great and precise work. They are professional, accommodating, skilled and a pleasure to work with. I will use them again for sure!

I would highly recommend Calico Painting and I would definitely use them for future work. Their work is excellent. They are extremely professional. They have a high level of detail and their professionalism in cleaning up after the job is finished as well as doing a thorough walk through to make sure we were happy with the work impressed me as it is a trait that I have not seen in recent years. Great job and thank you Luis and your team!

Calico's team of Luis and Lester were professional, polite, and hard workers. They took care not to damage property and plants. Complete clean up when finished and their work was outstanding! Excellent value for the beautiful job they accomplished. Thank you Luis and Lester!

So happy with the job that Calico did on painting the exterior of our home. I got estimates from three different companies, but as soon as I talked with Luis, the owner, I knew he was the one to trust. Luis was extremely thorough with his breakdown of work to be done. I really felt like he understood what we needed. Very professional. And he used to quality Sherwin Williams products which makes a big difference in the final outcome. Actually I asked the manager of the Sherwin Williams store for recommendations and Luis was one of them. The two team members that performed the work were so awesome… very hard working and anytime I had a question they were able to provide an immediate answer… with a smile! Totally satisfied customer and I will definitely use them again and highly recommend.

These people are true professionals, and I doubt you could find anyone better. They do exactly what they say they will do. We are extremely happy as our house feels brand new!

Luis and his team are wonderful to work with! Punctual, friendly, professional, and communication was always great. We will definitely be using Calico again and will refer them to our local friends and family.

Luis is a great example of what a professional should be. His team was prompt every day of the project. They left us with an excellent paint job and no mess. Friendly and easy to work with. EXCELLENT work completed in June 2024. Still looks good a year later -- even after Hurricane Helene came through Asheville. We feel fortunate to have found Calico Painting. Can't imagine finding anyone better!

We read many good reviews prior to selecting Calico Painting to paint the exterior of our home. They more than lived up to the hype. At every step of the process the communication was excellent. Luis and his team are very professional. We have a difficult yard with next to no flat areas and they made it look easy. They came exactly when expected and finished in the timeframe discussed. Other than the fresh coat of paint and the house looking great, you wouldn't even know they were here. I will definitely be calling Calico Painting for future projects.

We have had an excellent experience with Calico. We had our deck and front railings treated and painted by Calico. They could not have done a more thorough and professional job of addressing the considerable weathering/splitting of our wood. On top of the great work the painting team does, Louise stays totally on top of communications - a rarity these days. We are happy to HIGHLY recommend Calico Painting!

I cannot tell you how wonderful Calico Painting was to work with. Their work ethic is phenomenal. Their painting skills were meticulous. I would recommend them to anyone! They will be our one and only painting company!

What a great experience, working with Calico Painting. Everyone we interacted with was prompt, courteous, and they did a great job. I highly recommend!

Thank you to Luis and his amazing team at Calico Painting. From delivering a quote on time, managing the project pre and post Helene, and communicating throughout the entire process - the experience and results were wonderful. If you are looking for a dependable team of professional painters who do exceptional work with extremely high standards, Calico Painting will not disappoint!

I would highly recommend Calico Painting! Luis is great to work with and very knowledgable. The two jobs that they have done for me look better than new.

They did a wonderful job to our house looks like a brand new house couldn't ask for better crew highly recommend them!!!!!

Great experience no stress! Painters cleaned up work area daily and did a wonderful job. Owner is conscientious and responds immediately to questions or concerns. A real professional operation. Highly recommend the use of this company!

Luis and his team just finished up painting/staining our exterior decks and walkways. They were professional, prompt, and meticulous with their work. Communication with Luis was easy and the response time was quick. Highly recommend Calico Painting!

Luis and his team were simply amazing. Each stage of the process from planning through implementation was extremely well thought out, and the results were exactly as promised. We encountered a series of unfavorable weather events impeding our progress which they managed very well, and they were available throughout the entire duration and always on time as promised. Pricing was extremely competitive as well. Kudos to the entire team for a job extremely well done. Highly recommend to anyone considering exterior painting jobs!

Calico just finished painting our house. They did an excellent job. We decided to use a satin paint finish rather the flat as we'd used in the past. Our colors are gray for the siding, black for the trim, and red for the stucco accents. The new paint really pops. It was great working with Luis Garcia, the owner. He was very thorough with details and always kept me informed regarding the schedule, as the weather interfered a bit. The three crew members working were very friendly and always answered my questions. I was particularly pleased with the time and effort they spent caulking all the places where the siding and fascia boards had separated. The clean-up after all the painting was complete was excellent. Other than putting away the little bit of left over paint, there was nothing to clean up. Thank you, Calico!

We just had the interior of our home painted. The crews were on time every day and did a great job. Some colors were hard to cover, so they went the extra mile to do as many coats as needed.

Luis and the Calico painting team are phenomenal. Great price and fine attention to detail. On time and very responsive to any concerns. They go above and beyond. Give these guys a call and you won’t regret it!!

Great experience with Luis and Calico Painting. We had a large project, full exterior home repaint and they handled it perfectly - prompt, professional, efficient and respectful of our home and need to get our family in and out despite the project. Overall just great work, we couldn’t be happier!

We were so impressed with Luis and his team! We would highly recommend this professional group! From our initial meeting to completion of our project we felt respected and their work was exemplary!

Calico painting did a phenomenal job painting and weather proofing our large play set. It looks amazing. Estimate was appropriate, team was fast, and feedback was well received. We would use them again for sure.
